how to choose a journal you’ll love
Hiya creative peeps! It’s time for The Purpose Project – a year-long creative journey, where we explore our chakras and the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. I am excited to get started, and I hope you’ve jumped on board. If you would still like to join us, please visit my COACHING page to sign up:
You may register after January 15th and still have access to the monthly material, as they are released. After you register, you will be invited to join us on the ArtistWithinU Membership site and the private Facebook group, where all the goodness is taking place!
If you haven’t yet grabbed a journal yet, I made a little video below about my thoughts on what type of journals I like to use and why. If you have a favorite go-to, please share your thoughts in the comments below…we all have our favorites, and I would love to hear about what you like to use and why!
I hope to see you on the inside!

My friend makes the most beautiful art journals and note books you can find!
ooooh, that’s great…do mean blank ones that other people could buy, or art journals that she has created for herself? Do you like to create art journals, too?
Right now I’ve actually started using an altered book for art journaling (mostly for painting). It definitely presents its challenges–but it’s fun. I have something like that big black book you have…and unfortunately it’s been my go-to sketchbook, but it’s heavy so it’s hard to drag around.
I should really get something travel-friendly, and thanks for the advice.
Yeah, the big ones can get bulky. I love small little journals that you can just throw in your bag!
Agreed! But sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough space, even though I do. And too big of anything gets me feeling overwhelmed! I suppose I just need to find a happy medium.
Thanks again for this wonderful blog! It puts my mind at peace.
